Why?
RRIS is a web-based system that shows you a worklist of recent studies from your PACS and lets you choose a study and create a report with all the patient data already completed.
RRIS also helps you by letting you side-by-side compare your preliminary reports with the final report once issued by staff.
What?
RRIS is written using free, open-source software that you can download and install at your institution. It is web-based, meaning you can access it from anywhere on your institution’s network. All you need is some help from your PACS admin and IT staff, a server, some time and some know-how and you’ll be up and running.
